Procurement Manager (m/f/x)

What you will do

1. Assist in conducting negotiations to ensure stable material supply and manage material prices.
2. Support the formation and finalization of supplier contracts.
3. Synthesize strategies from the company, Business Units, and Procurement, providing insights on supply market development.
4. Manage the assigned category strategy, implementation, and monitoring.
5. Transform strategies into material category strategies and ensure their successful implementation.
6. Participate in change management and transformation processes within the team.
7. Seek innovative procurement solutions to support business growth.
8. Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements.
9. Collaborate across departments and countries to develop and implement procurement solutions.
10. Conduct regular market research.
11. Ensure adherence to product development processes and Procurement Guidelines.

What you will need

1. Bachelor’s degree in economics, chemistry, or engineering.
2. 2-3 years of relevant experience in an international, industrial context, preferably in the chemical industry.
3. Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and confidence.
4. Familiarity with modern procurement processes and systems.
5. Experience with value engineering/cost modeling methods and tools (preferred).
6. Knowledge of material category management and product development processes.
7. Experience in cross-functional and international project management.
8. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
9. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
10. Intercultural adaptability and international flexibility.
11. Proactive, open-minded attitude, always seeking procurement solutions that meet customer needs.
12. Fluent in Business English; German proficiency is a plus.
