Hi there, this is Mila Read from Found Legal, where we specialize in recruiting in-house lawyers for tech companies.

My client is a global software company looking to hire a Legal Counsel with an EMEA-wide remit.

Location / Remote

You can work fully remotely.

The company\’s office in Germany is in Nürnberg if you\’d like to come to the office from time to time (this is not required though).

A B-to-B software company with approximately 2,500 employees globally.

Headquartered in Europe (no US late-night calls).

Legal team headcount is around 12 lawyers globally.

Established 30 years ago and growing 20% year on year.

A secure and exciting business with a great culture and brilliant people (I know the team well).

Role

1. International (EMEA) commercial technology lawyer role with 70-80% of the work focused on supporting the company\’s sales activities.
2. Sales and legal work in harmony: legal has huge respect from sales, they get involved early in projects, are invited to team off-sites, and are receptive to advice and training.
3. The company has a fantastic culture based on respect for the individual.
4. Since it’s a smaller team, there is scope to shape your role by selecting areas of interest and developing them.
5. Excellent manager (I\’ve known them for a few years) and supportive colleagues.
6. Continuous learning and exchange of best practices.

About you

1. We are looking for an experienced commercial technology lawyer.
2. With in-house experience supporting tech/software vendors or IT services companies.
3. A technically strong lawyer, drafter, and negotiator.
4. Fluent in English and German. If you also speak French, even better.
