- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- 2 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
- Experience developing APIs and integrating third-party services.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience or interest in programming languages, such as Rust development, integrating Rust into existing C++ codebases, building static analysis tools, linters, or compilers with exploit mitigations or low-level system features.
- Foundations in programming languages, compilers, static and dynamic analysis techniques.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement techniques for extremely large-scale software systems across multiple product teams.
- Build partnerships and collaborate with teams in Google\’s Memory Safety program, as well as with industry and academia.
- Research and apply innovative memory safety techniques, including program analysis and machine learning.
