Responsibilities
- Generate income in the CPIW market segment for KD Canada and other KD products.
- Assist with the recruitment and relationship management of Partners for KD Canada and KD products for the CPIW market segment.
- Build brand awareness for KD Canada and KD products in the CPIW market segment.
- Conduct product demonstrations and workshops to build customer awareness and capability.
- Collaborate with product management, providing feedback and input on product functionality, training, and documentation.
- Provide assistance to the wider sales team on quotations, order entry, order management, and sales project management for field demonstrations and training as required.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of one year of technical sales experience. In addition, one or more years of technical experience in Engineering, Survey, Maritime, or Marine technology.
- Technical Certification or Degree Program as a Technologist, Engineer, Surveyor, or Hydrographer; or suitable work experience in Engineering, Survey, Maritime or Marine technology.
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and collaboration across KONGSBERG entities.
- Excellent probing skills, listening skills, presentation skills, and closing skills.
- Practical field skills (e.g., knots, seamanship, electrical/mechanical/IT troubleshooting).
- Strong communication skills both written and oral (German and English).
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability for success with international clients. Understanding of basic sonar theory, of the CPIW market segment, customer requirements, and procurement process.
- Working in an international environment. Travel within EMEA and internationally is required.
