About the role. You will:
- Be a part of consulting or implementation team during IT projects for financial institutions, primarily insurance companies.
- Coordinate larger, Agile implementation projects or act as an independent leader of a project area.
- Lead complex business analysis, define functional requirements, design solutions and mentor less experienced team members.
- Act as a team leader, Product Owner, a Scrum Master or business architect as needed by the project.
- Supervise analytical works across multiple teams on a project.
- Build lasting relationships with the clients’ key personnel and leadership.
- Work closely with software developers and IT architects on a daily basis.
- Lead your own area in the company, supported by an experienced supervisor.
- Support B2B sales activities.
About the requirements. You need:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT projects for the financial sector, preferably insurance or bancassurance in an international environment.
- At least 4 years of experience in Guidewire systems implementation.
- Understanding of how insurance companies or banks work, having comprehensive, in-depth understanding of relevant processes and business models.
- Experience in the functional design of IT solutions and running IT implementations.
- To be creative, resourceful, and proactive in finding solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to ensure quality of the deliverables of your team, by applying analytical thinking and synthesis skills.
- Ability to demonstrate team management skills and take responsibility for team results.
- Ability to work in Germany and the European Union on a full-time basis.
- At least a bachelor’s degree.
- Great command of English and German language, being fully confident collaborating with English native speakers.

- Experience working in implementation-related or strategic consulting, especially in the fields of insurance or bancassurance.
- Ability to build lasting and positive relationships with the client stakeholders and C-Level representatives.

- While having the main office in Cologne, you want to work with our Clients abroad, traveling up to 50% of your work time.
