Our client is an internationally operating company in the healthcare sector. They are seeking a

Group Senior Legal Counsel Data Privacy, IT and Legal Operations (f/m/d)

to join their team at the headquarters in Munich. You will report to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer and provide strategic and operational legal advice to the Group and senior management across various departments, especially Procurement and IT. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with data privacy laws, negotiating large group-wide IT contracts, and drafting and reviewing agreements related to IT, considering the decentralized structure of the Group. You will also oversee critical areas such as AI law and cybersecurity law, partnering with other group functions as a senior business partner to navigate legal complexities in these domains.

The role supports the Group General Counsel in projects of group-wide importance by establishing the legal operations backbone to enhance global governance and facilitate regional reporting.

Qualifications include being qualified in a European jurisdiction, with at least five years of experience, ideally in an international in-house role. Relevant experience in IT, contract, and data protection law is essential. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, fluency in English (German is a plus), strong business acumen, and a willingness to grow within the legal department.
