We are seeking the following position at the earliest opportunity:

Team Leader (m/f/d) BioServices

Location: Weil am Rhein

A Day in the Life:

• Responsible for coordinating a team of 7 employees and optimal resource allocation to ensure smooth shipping and packaging operations. Aim to deliver goods accurately, cost-effectively, and on time according to internal and external guidelines.
• Ensure planned production steps, including device, material availability, functionality, and proper documentation.
• Strict adherence to GMP guidelines and local SOPs to ensure high quality and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary departments to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Support and lead investigations of quality and safety incidents; promote high standards of quality and work within responsible areas.
• Participate in audits and customer inspections to ensure ongoing compliance and quality standards.
• Regularly review and analyze existing processes and identify efficiency improvements; participate in developing and implementing improvement measures.
• Contribute to cross-departmental projects to continuously optimize operational processes.
• Lead and develop the team, supported by deputy team leaders, to ensure efficient daily operations.

Key to Success:

Education

• Completed vocational training in logistics or a comparable qualification with several years of experience; further training as a master or similar qualification is advantageous.

Experience

• Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally in a dynamic environment within the pharmaceutical industry or related fields, e.g., as a shift supervisor or planner.

Skills, Abilities, Competencies

• Strong proactive problem-solving skills.
• Experience in process analysis and continuous improvement; knowledge of LEAN methods and Operational Excellence is beneficial.
• Leadership skills with experience in both technical and disciplinary team management.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels and with external stakeholders.
• High motivation and enthusiasm for working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
• Fluent German (spoken and written) and good English (B1/B2).
• Very good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) and experience with ERP systems.
