Position Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Information Security Engineering team. This leadership role involves overseeing and guiding the engineering team, fostering a healthy and productive work environment. The Engineering Manager will contribute to the team\’s success by ensuring the delivery of projects, supporting professional development, and promoting growth among team members.

Responsibilities

1. Define the team\’s vision, scope, priorities, and timelines; ensure efficient delivery by aligning work with team capacity and skills; maintain clear communication with stakeholders and team members.
2. Support team well-being and engagement, encourage continuous learning, take ownership of hiring, and address behavioral or performance issues constructively.
3. Drive sustainable delivery by selecting and evolving processes suited to the team\’s context, while continuously improving efficiency, collaboration, and quality.
4. Promote engineering excellence by maintaining robust QA practices, defining and monitoring SLIs/SLOs, ensuring transparent incident management, and embedding lessons learned into future practices.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in building and leading technical teams with successful results.
• Solid understanding of security concepts and tooling.
• Ability to advocate technical initiatives, set objectives, and plan impactful strategies.
• Effective stakeholder management, scope, and priority setting skills.
• Courage to address challenging situations and achieve constructive outcomes.
• Fluent communication in English, with the ability to explain complex engineering and security concepts to non-technical audiences.

The salary range for this position is €97,800 – €132,300 gross per year.
