SAP MFG PP Lead - SAP S4 / HANA - Remote - Occasional Travel to Germany

We\’re currently supporting a leading European manufacturing client transitioning from ECC to S / 4HANA, and they are seeking a seasoned SAP PP Lead Consultant to help lead this transformation.

Location : Remote (occasional travel to Germany – 1–2 days / month)

Start : ASAP

Duration : 6–12 months

Engagement : Freelance / Contract

Key Responsibilities :

• Drive and lead S / 4HANA PP workshops, supporting fit-to-standard processes including Make-to-Order (MTO).
• Clearly articulate the value of S / 4HANA over ECC in the manufacturing context.
• Work closely with stakeholders to map packaging industry processes to S / 4 best practices.
• Utilize and advise on relevant FIORI apps to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrating with Finance and Supply Chain.

Requirements :

• Proven experience in SAP PP within manufacturing, preferably packaging.
• Strong exposure to both ECC and S / 4HANA (2–3 years of S / 4 experience minimum).
• Confident in leading workshops and managing stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of FIORI applications relevant to production and shop floor processes.
• Must be based in Europe and open to short monthly travel (1–2 days / month) to Germany.
