As the Director of Security Architecture and Engineering, you will shape and execute our enterprise security strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of our security architecture and engineering practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

• Security Architecture
• Security Engineering
• Identity and Access Management

What you will do :

• Security Architecture Leadership – Develop and maintain the security architecture framework, aligning with business objectives and industry standards.
• Engineering Oversight – Lead security engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls.
• Threat Intelligence – Stay updated on cyber threats and vulnerabilities, integrating this knowledge into security strategies.
• Security Technology Roadmap – Establish and manage the security technology roadmap, promoting the adoption of emerging security technologies.
• Collaboration and Communication – Build relationships with senior stakeholders to align security initiatives with business and technology strategies.
• Team Development and Management – Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team, fostering continuous learning and collaboration.
• Budget Management – Oversee security budgets, resource allocation, and procurement.
• Vendor Management – Manage security-related vendor relationships and contracts.

What we’re looking for :

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor\’s or master\’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.
• Proven leadership experience in security architecture and engineering.
• Deep knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to assess complex security situations and make informed decisions.
