Your mission at EuroPriSe

In certification projects, you will be responsible for the legal evaluation or assessment of the privacy standards of the processor. As a technical counterpart, you summarize the results of your tests in a test report. Our evaluators then decide, based on the test report, whether the company will be awarded the EuroPriSe certificate in accordance with Article 42 GDPR.

Your tasks and goals

What we expect from you

Assessment of applications, implementation of evaluations and assessments from legal perspective

• Define the target of evaluation together with the customer and evaluate the application for certification
• Plan and execute legal evaluations and document the results in an evaluation report
• Assess evaluation results to prepare the certification decision
• Collaborate with technical data protection experts across disciplines

Academic background & experience:
You have successfully completed a law degree at an (EU) state or recognized university, e.g., LLM or at least the first state examination. You also have at least 3 years of professional experience in data protection law.

Product development support:
You support the development of new and the enhancement of existing certification programs. You actively participate in efforts to expand into further countries, including working on EU-level approval of the criteria catalog.

Professional knowledge:

You possess in-depth knowledge of data protection law, especially the GDPR. You are also experienced in organizational data protection activities such as data protection impact assessments and data protection management systems.

Training:
You conduct training courses on our programs and train new certification experts.

Optional knowledge:
Experience in auditing or testing procedures is advantageous. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27018, 27701, 17000 series, 17020, 17021, and 17065 is also beneficial.

Language skills:
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, including technical terminology, is required.
