What we offer
In this position, you will plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing, distribution, and logistics activities in the Electrolysis and Reformer Unit (P2) in Brunsbüttel to produce and supply high-quality products at competitive costs, ensuring strict adherence to safety and legal regulations. You will also manage the supply from two external suppliers.
Manufacturing includes HCl electrolysis and CO production. Logistics involves loading and unloading facilities for Liquid HCl and chlorine, as well as coke handling. Distribution encompasses pipeline networks supplying internal and external customers in the Chemical Park with liquid HCl.
Along with our wide range of benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary between €131,600 and €164,500 gross per year, plus a variable component for full-time employment. The exact salary depends on your qualifications and experience.
Your main responsibilities
- Manufacture and distribute products safely, cost-effectively, on time, and to specification following standard operating procedures.
- Ensure process and plant safety, employee health and safety, quality, and emergency operations.
- Maintain compliance with external and internal regulations, including environmental standards.
- Ensure the safe technical operation of production facilities in cooperation with Asset & Reliability Management, Maintenance Management, and Process Technology.
- Organize and manage personnel, including target setting, feedback, planning, staffing, training, and talent development.
- Manage cost centers and resources for safe and efficient operations.
- Plan and execute production and shutdowns in coordination with supply chain, logistics, customers, and raw material suppliers, actively communicating with all interfaces.
- Identify and develop projects related to cost savings, performance improvements, and growth; oversee commissioning and startup after mechanical completion.
- Participate as a member of the site leadership team.
What you offer
- University degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical-Process, or Chemical Engineering.
- Several years of experience in production, plant management, reliability, technology, or project management.
- Experience in international management and leading large global teams is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and management skills for leading highly qualified teams.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and German.
