We are launching a new, high-impact team to lead our expansion into the spatial biology segment. We seek top sales and applications talent for a remote sales and customer support role, offering a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of this growth initiative, backed by Leica’s brand and expertise.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in spatial biology, looking to leverage their knowledge and make an impact within a major growth area. As part of the Danaher Life Sciences group, you will have access to cross-company collaboration and career development opportunities.

Role Overview

As a Customer Success Manager, you will:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for reagents and Spatial Biology workflows, ensuring customer satisfaction and product optimization.
  • Drive sales growth through consultative selling, generating quotes, identifying opportunities, and managing customer relationships to ensure seamless integration and delivery of consumables.

This position reports to the Market Development Manager and is part of the EMEA commercial team, based in Germany, working remotely to cover the EMEA region. The ideal candidate should be located in Southern Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide front-line pre- and post-sales technical support for reagents and workflows.
  2. Engage in consultative selling and upselling of consumables to research and academic institutions.
  3. Generate accurate, competitive quotes aligned with customer needs.
  4. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
  5. Manage customer relationships, addressing issues and ensuring satisfaction and timely delivery.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting consumable reagents, with a strong understanding of product applications.
  • Knowledge of reagents and dyes used in Life Science research, with the ability to discuss specifications and compatibility.
  • Practical lab experience in Life Science research.
  • Inside sales experience in the Life Science sector (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Spatial Biology workflows.
