You will be supporting our subsidiary, Krug Sachverständigen GmbH.

Krug, a Verisk Business, has been an established service provider in automotive appraisals and expert assessments for over 40 years. We employ 120 experts across Germany and collaborate with more than 30 insurance companies and numerous auto repair shops.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an agile team in requirements gathering, refinement, and delivery of user-focused improvements.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets user requirements.
• Peer review other developers\‘ work thoroughly and constructively.
• Collaborate with other Software Developers, Product Managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve code quality, development processes, and team satisfaction.
• Migrate our legacy PHP application.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a software development role.
• Good knowledge of PHP8, including testing, quality tools, ORM.
• Knowledge of the Laravel Framework.
• Good knowledge of React.
• Experience with version control systems like GIT, GitHub, GitLab, or similar.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Docker and Containerization, AWS or similar services, CI/CD, and project management tools like JIRA/Confluence.
