Role Title: SAP FICA Customizing consultant – Receivables management

Minimum years of experience: 10+ years

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in SAP IS Utility – FICA (Finance and Contract Accounting) to join their SAP Utilities team. The ideal candidate should have participated in at least 2 greenfield SAP IS-U implementations in Utilities, capable of leading Business Workshops, Blueprint Sessions, documenting business process design documents, Functional Specifications, Test Scenarios, conducting trainings, and supporting testing and defect resolution for the FICA module. The candidate should also be able to lead a team of consultants and communicate complex requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Experience with Meter to Cash processes
2. Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements in SAP Utilities
3. Support conceptualization and implementation of innovative solutions in Finance and Contract Accounting
4. Design financial processes such as dunning, debt collection, installment plans, and bank returns
5. Lead the implementation of SAP-FICA-Utilities modules
6. Perform configuration and customization of SAP-FICA-Utilities to meet business needs
7. Provide guidance on best practices for SAP-FICA-Utilities processes
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration
9. Analyze business requirements and translate into functional documents
10. Develop and execute test plans to ensure solution quality
11. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-FICA-Utilities issues promptly
12. Monitor system performance and implement improvements
13. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
14. Provide updates and reports to stakeholders
15. Maintain documentation related to SAP-FICA-Utilities
16. Stay updated with latest SAP-FICA-Utilities trends
17. Complete tasks from the product backlog and create functional, error-free product increments within sprints

Required Skills:

• Broad expertise in energy industry processes
• Strong knowledge of sales processes for energy supply (electricity/gas)
• Practical knowledge of SAP IS-U/UC4G
• Fluent in English; German at least B1 level
• Open to weekly local travel to Munich and Frankfurt

Specific Characteristics:

• Good knowledge of dunning
• Practical experience in Receivables management in SAP IS-U
• Good knowledge of commercial processes
• Understanding of account determination, payment allocation, and collection processes within SAP
