Senior Consultant Power BI (m/f/d)

Job Requirements

• +/- 5 years of experience working with PowerBI
• Advanced knowledge in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing (e.g., Data Vault) and architecture experience in DWH
• Strong knowledge in Data Visualization
• Knowledge of Data Visualization standards (e.g., IBCS)
• Experience with at least one RDBMS
• Advanced proficiency with SQL (DDL, DML), DAX, M
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java / Scala, Python, R
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Information Management, or similar
• Openness to occasional travel (up to 30%)
• Fluent in German and English (speaking & writing)
• Nice to have: Knowledge in Snowflake or Azure Synapse, experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, or other Data Visualization tools, consulting experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and well-architected Power BI solutions tailored to business needs
• Develop semantic models in Power BI for efficient data analysis and reporting
• Implement complex DAX measures
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on Power BI within synvert
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake technology to customers
• Work deeply in customer environments at a technical level
• Gather and understand business requirements and implement them
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports for various departments
