Job Title: DevOps/Build Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: 12 months contract

Must have US Security Clearance

Responsibilities:

1. Strong knowledge of ALM processes like build automation for complex projects across different technologies – .Net, SharePoint, Azure, SSRS, Dynamics CRM, Dynamics AX, etc.
2. Identify areas for automation and optimization of the ALM processes.
3. Thorough knowledge of TFS application and administration.
4. Experience in ITSM processes in the following areas: Change management, Incident management, Problem management, and Infrastructure Security.
5. Participate in the delivery of complex ALM solutions as a technical individual contributor to various project teams.
6. Ability to understand and analyze issues independently and use judgment to make decisions to run services optimally and/or restore services quickly in the event of a failure.
7. Strong communication skills are highly essential.
8. Technical design, development, and implementation decisions on the use of technology in area(s) of specialization.
9. Ability to read, interpret and/or develop technical specifications, diagrams, and ALM blueprints.
10. Responsible for self-development in new Microsoft technologies according to a professional development plan.

Skills Required:

1. Azure (Hands-on, on PaaS, IaaS).
2. Experience in managing and administering TFS 2015, VSTS.
3. Experience in Version Control concepts and technologies like TFVC, git, Subversion.
4. Experience on popular CI solutions like TeamBuild, TeamCity, Jenkins – configuring, scheduling & troubleshooting build pipelines.
5. Experience on all Visual DevOps tools – VSTS, Build vNext, RMO, Package Management, VSTS extensions, etc.
6. Strong design and development skills on .Net technologies.
7. Overall experience of 5-7 years as a build/DevOps engineer.

Job Description:

1. Performs highly complex application programming/systems development and support.
2. Performs highly complex configuration of business rules and technical parameters of software products.
3. Review business requirements and develop application design documentation.
4. Build technical components (Maximo objects, TRM Rules, Java extensions, etc.) based on detailed design.
5. Perform unit testing of components along with completing necessary documentation.
6. Support product test, user acceptance test, etc., as a member of the fix-it team.
7. Employ consistent measurement techniques.
8. Include testing in project plans and establish controls to require adherence to test plans.
9. Manage the interrelationships among various projects or work objectives.
