The Technical Services division ensures the technical availability of our production facilities and production-relevant infrastructure. In addition, it includes training and further education and offers advisory and implementation support on the subject of machine safety. There are two topics to choose from for the preparation of a thesis. You are also welcome to bring a topic that will help us advance in the field of maintenance or energy saving:

1) Potential analysis of AI-supported applications in the maintenance context

Ideal maintenance ensures a high level of technical availability of plants and systems if necessary with low maintenance costs. Both too many and too few measures can lead to increased costs and lower technical availability. AI-supported applications can help to find the ideal measure. It is necessary to analyse the extent to which such systems already exist and what benefits they bring us.

2) Evaluation of different building management systems, taking into account the benefits for achieving CO2 neutrality and recommendation for selection

In order to create ideal production conditions, a number of different systems are necessary in the building sector. The right interaction of these systems can lead to the prevention of waste and energy savings. This also helps to plan sustainability measures according to demand. To do this, the existing systems must be compared and the ideal system for the location must be selected.
