I am hiring a Senior Cyber Security Officer on behalf of an exciting service provider operating in the energy sector. The company offers services such as energy generation, optimization, and decarbonization strategies, focusing on reducing carbon footprints and increasing operational efficiency. With a commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility, the company supports businesses in transitioning to more sustainable energy models, helping them achieve regulatory compliance and cost savings through tailored energy management systems.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensure the efficient organization and management of cybersecurity processes.
- Manage and enhance the cybersecurity infrastructure and its associated tools.
- Support internal projects and offer guidance on cybersecurity matters.
- Take responsibility for implementing, monitoring, and adjusting cybersecurity measures and emergency plans in collaboration with system and process owners.
- Coordinate penetration tests and other technical and organizational evaluations, such as log analysis.
This role is remote in Germany with occasional travel to client sites.
Essential:
- Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, Cyber Security.
- Several years‘ experience in a similar role in Information Security.
- In-depth knowledge of ISMS – ISO 27001.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- C1 German and fluent English.
Desirable:
- Technical knowledge of penetration testing, network security, and/or firewalls.
