Job Description:

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Johnson & Johnson is seeking a General Manager for our Surgical Vision business in DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), based in Zug, Switzerland. This executive role offers a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead and drive growth for our best-in-class surgical vision business.

As the General Manager, you will have the chance to shape the future of our business and make a lasting impact for patients in the field of surgical vision. Responsibilities:

1. Lead all aspects of the overall commercial operations and performance of the Surgical Vision business in DACH.
2. Develop and implement a strategic business plan to drive profitable growth and exceed sales and profit targets.
3. Develop and lead a team that shares a strong purpose to advance the standard of care for patients, demonstrates customer centricity, strong work ethics, and promotes a culture of collaboration and inclusivity that fosters innovation and excellence.
4. Build and nurture strong connections with various external and internal stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals, as well as cross-functional local, regional, and global partners.
5. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and inform strategic priorities and go-to-market strategies.
6. Drive operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness through continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Proven track record of executive leadership in the healthcare industry, preferably in the surgical or medical device sector.
2. Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to analyze and implement successful strategies.
3. Excellent communication and people leadership skills, with the ability to establish and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders.
4. Demonstrated drive and proactive approach, with a proven ability to succeed in a highly competitive market.
5. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
6. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
