Are you ready to take your software sales career to the next level? Join DataGuard as a BDR and support both direct and indirect sales efforts, gaining exposure to the entire sales cycle while working closely with Account Executives and partnering initiatives. Engage with prospects ranging from SMBs to enterprises across various industries, developing a deep understanding of their needs and the security and compliance landscape. With a clear growth path, you’ll have the opportunity to transition into an Account Executive role within 6 to 12 months. WHAT YOU\’LL BE DOING

  • You proactively identify and speak with new opportunities within targeted customer segments, sparking genuine interest in DataGuard’s solutions with your compelling pitch.

  • You continuously refine your outbound strategy, always keeping a customer-centric approach at the forefront.

  • You build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across our target market, partnering with Account Executives to drive sales and ensure prospect engagement.

  • You collaborate cross-functionally with the Go-To-Market team to optimize processes from prospecting to deal closing, ensuring seamless lead qualification, automation, and process efficiency.

  • You leverage our optimized tech stack, including tools like Salesforce, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, to maximize your success.

  • You gradually take on more responsibility in customer interactions, positioning DataGuard and progressing toward an Account Executive role.

THE QUALITIES YOU\’LL NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AT DATAGUARD

  • University degree in a business or technology-related field of study (or comparable).

  • Experience in a challenging, fast-paced professional environment.

  • Initial experience in a customer related position and with direct client contact.

  • Native German proficiency, English a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Personal initiative, assertiveness, and the ability to work in a team.

  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

  • Professionalism, authenticity, argumentative strength and quick-wittedness are your hallmarks.
