As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA), you will play an important role during this journey. You will collaborate with our sales and field engineering teams to accelerate the adoption and growth of the Databricks platform in your accounts. You will help ensure customer success by providing architecture support and technical expertise, leveraging internal teams to assist complex customers in accelerating their workloads on Databricks.

Role Overview

This is a hybrid technical and commercial role. It involves becoming the post-sales technical lead across all Databricks products and customer workloads, engaging with various organizational levels, and driving growth through technical relationships and strategic planning.

Reporting Line

You will report to a DSA manager and be part of the Field Engineering team.

The Impact You Will Have

• Collaborate with Account Executives and Solutions Architects to understand customer demand and focus areas, leading technical account strategies.
• Act as the technical architect for data, analytics, and AI use cases, ensuring successful onboarding, technical enablement, and best practices.
• Develop and share best practices through reference architectures and reusable assets to scale expertise.
• Serve as the first contact for technical issues related to ongoing customer use cases.
• Leverage other teams like Support, Enablement, and Professional Services to address tasks beyond your scope.
• Create and execute strategies to accelerate key use cases into production.
• Coordinate with Product/Engineering teams for new capabilities and upgrades.
• Provide updates on customer health, usage, and risks to leadership.

What We Look For

• 7+ years of experience in technical project delivery in Data, Analytics, and AI, with active contribution to architectural decisions.
• Programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience in customer-facing post-sales technical roles or consulting.
• Experience designing Data, Analytics, and AI solutions in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to attribute business value to technical deliverables.
• Technical program management experience, including stakeholder and resource management.
• Experience resolving escalations with senior decision-makers.
• Proficiency in running workshops, creating roadmaps, and managing complex projects.
• Track record of exceeding goals and targets.
