We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect with extensive experience in event-based architecture, RESTful APIs, RDBMS, NoSQL, IoT, IoT cybersecurity, and proficiency in Java, Spring, and Quarkus frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing complex software systems, mentoring development teams, and promoting best practices in software development.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Design and implement scalable, event-based architectures for high-performance applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end and mobile applications.
- Architect and manage both relational (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.
- Ensure the security of IoT systems by implementing robust cybersecurity measures.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers to improve their coding skills and ensure high-quality code.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Document architectural decisions and designs for various stakeholders.
- Identify technical debts and create solutions to minimize them.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO WIN
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role.
- Expertise in event-based architecture and building scalable systems.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Extensive experience with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with IoT technologies and architecture.
- Deep understanding of IoT cybersecurity practices and protocols.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming.
- Experience with the Spring and Quarkus frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
