For our Professional Services & Training team in Germany, we are looking for technology thought leaders with a strong background in building data platforms who enjoy leveraging their skills to generate value by enhancing data teams. Our team supports customers on their data journey with Snowflake, the central data platform for companies of all sizes. You will work on some of the most challenging data projects globally, in a post-sales capacity. Fluency or native proficiency in German is required.

WHAT WE DO:

We are Snowflake’s Professional Services team, providing expert advisory services to help clients build enterprise solutions that transform their businesses. Our engagements range from migration projects to greenfield implementations, ongoing support, and solving complex data management challenges. We aim to be our customers\‘ trusted technology advisors and maximize their Snowflake investment.

WHAT A SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT AT SNOWFLAKE DOES:

• Engages with multiple Snowflake customers
• Leads technical streams of data platform implementations and onboarding
• Coordinates with Customer Engagement and Delivery teams for technical guidance and project management
• Collaborates with Engineering, Support, Sales, and Marketing teams
• Helps troubleshoot implementations and integrates Snowflake into customer ecosystems
• Documents, triages, and tracks issues to resolution
• Contributes to team growth through documentation, process improvement, and cross-training
• Utilizes industry, domain, and technology expertise in client projects
• Gathers customer feedback to inform product development

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

Candidates with a proven track record in building top-tier cloud data platforms and strong consulting skills. Requirements include:

• 12+ years in customer-facing technical roles
• Experience with distributed systems, PaaS/IaaS cloud concepts, data strategies, data modeling, infrastructure, data engineering, BI, and AI/ML fundamentals
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across organizational levels
• Industry experience in Financial Services, Retail, or Healthcare & Life Sciences is advantageous
• Fluency in German and English
