We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Head of HR for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the market, and a proven track record in team motivation and retail/hospitality experience. This role requires a visionary leader capable of transforming our organizational culture to align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with Hunkemöller\’s overall business strategy.
  • Lead and manage the HR team across the DACH region, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.
  • Drive cultural transformation initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and development.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive organizational change and development.
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Manage employee relations and address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Reporting to the CHRO + dotted line to Managing Director of DACH.
  • Being part of a Global HR team, where you drive initiatives & implement “out of the box” thinking.
  • Improve the admin processes and ways of working.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master\’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of the DACH market and its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cultural transformation initiatives.
  • Forward-thinking mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in German and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
