Your Mission

As a Senior Group Controller (m/f/d), your mission is to provide clear and precise financial guidance to support strategic decisions for a sustainable energy future. You will ensure transparency and efficiency across our global teams, navigating complex financial scenarios to drive the company\’s success in energy transmission.

Your Tasks:

1. Budget Development & Monitoring: Develop and support annual budget plans for Trench Group and its nine factories. Oversee Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Financial Control Systems (FCS) to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals.
2. Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Manage the preparation of monthly closing reports and rolling financial forecasts, ensuring ongoing adjustments. Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with IFRS, working closely with Group Accounting for compliance.
3. Performance Analysis & Management Support: Analyze KPIs and prepare detailed reports to support management. Provide insights and recommendations, and prepare financial reports for monthly Board meetings to ensure transparency.
4. Strategic Project Support: Support and evaluate strategic projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
5. Reporting Standards Development: Enhance global reporting standards to improve transparency and efficiency, including standardization across factories.
6. Ad Hoc Inquiries: Handle urgent inquiries promptly, delivering high-quality solutions to immediate challenges.

Requirements:

1. Educational Background: Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Finance or related field; professional certifications preferred.
2. Professional Experience: Extensive experience in corporate finance, with expertise in oversight and strategic planning.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in controlling, accounting standards, consolidation, financial software, ERP systems, advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Lucanet.
4. Adaptability & Analytical Skills: Ability to adapt to change and analyze complex financial scenarios.
5. Interpersonal & Collaboration Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills, fluent in German and English.
