Accountable to ensure that the Global Ocean Product Pricing runs smoothly, and relevant measures are pro-actively taken. Define and fine-tune pricing processes and methodologies in alignment with Tender Management, Regional Pricing Competency Centre (PCC), Global LCL Team, Global FCL Team, Regions and Countries.Manage procurement (of NAC and FAK agreements) of subcontractor within the existing portfolio of our preferred co-load partners (PCP).Work jointly with Global Ocean LCL Director to develop a “best practise” selling concept to produce and deliver highest efficiency of pricing with regards to global and regional tender.Monitor and steer the FCLand LCL tariff landscape in G-R8 and ensure completeness (Main leg/Inland/locals) for MSR FAK and NAC.BusinessDeliver accurate and winning pricing door to door to regional and global tender teams, in collaboration and alignment with Global FCL and LCL Managements.Ensure pricing is market related and allow GEODIS to win substantial business with positive profit.Engage with Geodis “Preferred Co-load Partner” (PCP) for global procurement based on “CFS-to-CFS”Review and approve (sign off) global internal pricing (IRS) before final submission to tender teams.Take active part of Tender awareness calls, customers negotiation and internal stakeholders.Follow up volume & yield performance of Geodis top customers in alignment with both Global FCL/LCL Directors.Deliver new lane pricing & arrange rate reviews for selected existing global customers (CFS-to-CFS basis)Monitor and steer the LCL tariff landscape in G-R8 and ensure completeness (Main leg/Inland/locals) for MSR FAK and NAC.Cooperate with Geodis regional ocean FCL/LCL product heads to guarantee competitive pricing for local charges and inland transport costs from the individual countries.ToolsAdministrate and manage Ocean FCL/LCL pricing data´s in Geodis Global Rate Data Base (G-R8) by steering the tariff landscape in G-R8 and ensure completeness (Main leg/Inland/locals) for MSR FAK and NAC.Ensure central customers filling reference are uploaded into the Global Rate Data Base (G-R8)ProfileCollege degree (Bachelor) or equivalent work experience/ apprenticeshipMinimum 5 years of experience working in a global ocean forwarder and carrier networkStrong and proven carrier and customer negotiation skillsProven track record of managing ocean freight procurementStrong organizational and analytical skills
