You will be part of our Grid Automation Service Team. We provide Service Solutions for substation automation systems, control and protection, cyber security, communication and telecontrol technology. It is our ambition to provide high-quality service, delivering solutions aligned with customers\‘ needs.In this role, you are responsible for Service business from initial customer request to contract closing and handover to operations. The activities include working with customers creating and completing bids/estimations/quotations based on customers’ technical specifications and other requirements to achieve both market competitiveness, high-quality tenders and profitable business.How you’ll make an impactCreate plans and implements sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with HBU/ BU sales strategyIdentify opportunities for existing and potential new customersEstablish and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and knowledge of customer needsKeep the organization informed about new trends, influences and players in the marketPerform sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned order objectives. Collaborate with all related local Hitachi Energy Business Units to ensure alignment and collaborationWhen applicable promote services and solutions in the market, with participation at trade fairs, exhibitions, customer meetings, and telephone contactsSupport Customers by acting as a source of information and/or door opener for the customer into the organizationEnsure that inputs and feedback from customers are forwarded to the appropriate individual or unit within the organization, to secure a reply to the customerHas good knowledge about the customer and the customer’s processesProactively prepare sales forecast and sales planningPreparation of tender documents and reports for internal risk reviews and tender submission approvalsWork in full coordination with the other sales specialists for Grid Automation and with the Front-End Sales team (KAM)Your backgroundDegree in Electrical Engineering or similar, with a strong technical background, ideally with emphasis in power engineeringExcellent technical understanding of substation automation, control and protection solutionsMinimum of 2 years of experience in the field of substation automation, control and protection, cyber security, communication and/or telecontrol technologyGood knowledge of the grid automation marketIdeally previous experience in Service and SalesProven track record from working either with electrical utility, system integrator, or technical consultantFlexibility and interest in working within an international teamGood skills in communication and customer relationsEnglish is mandatoryProven working experience in customer contact, coordinating multiple tenders and taking responsibilityWillingness to travel and attend customer meetingsMore about usOur flexible work practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow. #J-18808-Ljbffr
