Your profile

• University degree (MSc or PhD) in chemistry or chemical engineering or equivalent
• Solid knowledge and practical experience in battery manufacturing
• Experience with lithium-ion batteries, especially electrode preparation
• Demonstrated dedication and enthusiasm about identifying and solving scientific problems
• Advanced English language skills (both verbally and in writing), German a plus
• Value of teamwork and ability to work in an intercultural environment as well as independently

Main responsibilities

• Developing innovative binder concepts for next generation battery electrodes
• Cooperating with both internal and external partners
• Participating in regular project meetings with the involved partners from industry and universities
• Characterizing mechanical/physical aspects of battery electrodes
• Preparing lithium-ion test cells for extended material characterization
• Supporting/training technical/junior colleagues
