Senior IT-Consultant (m/f/d) Data Engineer
Your new job includes:
As a Senior IT Consultant (m/f/d) Data Engineer, you will take on exciting projects in data engineering, ensure seamless integration and efficient data management, drive innovative technologies and work closely with business analysts and data scientists to take our IT services to the next level. In particular, you will:
- conceptualize end-to-end solutions based on projects and business requirements for analytics applications and data transfers
- design and orchestrate data flows using a wide variety of interfaces such as API, event mesh, database connections
- lead and conduct projects, are accountable for project budgets and manage external service providers
- ensure data quality and implement best practices for data management and data security
- secure the development guidelines
- collaborate with various stakeholders from the business in projects
What you should bring along:
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, engineering or a related field
- Sound knowledge of at least two of the technologies mentioned (SAP Datasphere, Azure Data Lakes, Google Cloud Big Query) as well as programming with Python and SQL and other programming languages
- Experience in software development concepts such as version control (Git or Bitbucket), CI/CD (Azure DevOps) as well as Kubernetes, Helm Charts and Docker are desirable
- Proven skills in project management in an agile setting and requirements management
- Very good written and spoken English language skill, German language skills are an advantage
- Thanks to your outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, you always find effective solutions and contribute significantly to the further development of our projects
