Director - Marketing (m/f/d)

The Director – Marketing (m/f/d) is responsible for marketing in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. This pivotal role offers an opportunity to shape our marketing landscape, enhance our brand presence, and support sales efforts across diverse markets. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Marketing , the Director will drive marketing strategies, bridge global initiatives with regional specifics, and craft campaigns that resonate across Europe and Africa. The Director will lead efforts to develop and execute marketing campaigns and programs to generate new business in the region, providing leads and opportunities to sales consistently.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing programs tailored for the EMEA region, aligning with global strategies to increase brand awareness and create sales opportunities.
2. Collaborate with sales teams to create targeted marketing campaigns that drive revenue and customer engagement.
3. Manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation for maximum impact.
4. Coordinate with global marketing to implement worldwide awareness programs with regional relevance.
5. Lead and foster a diverse team of marketing professionals, promoting creativity, innovation, and excellence.
6. Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform and adapt marketing strategies.
7. Build strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance market presence and explore new opportunities.
8. Report regularly on marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor\’s or master\’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
2. 7-10 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in a Data Center environment.
3. Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
4. Extensive marketing experience within the EMEA region.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proficiency in German and English is preferred.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing markets.
7. Leadership experience and team management skills.
8. Deep understanding of digital marketing methods and technologies, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
