Job Description:

The Senior Director will provide strategic leadership for the EMEA TMS (Transport Management System) function. They will possess deep product, operational, and leadership expertise. They will lead the implementation of business plans and oversee the Services team, working closely with EMEA Sales to ensure the success of the TMS business.
This role can be based in any of our EMEA offices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Governance:
- Ensure the success of all EMEA TMS implementations, managing project scope, budget, resources, and timelines.
- Serve as escalation point for issues.
- Attend Steering Committee Meetings as Project Director.
- Act as Project Engagement Lead and trusted advisor to clients.
- Oversee existing customer base and monitor upgrades.
- Provide industry expertise related to client’s business.
- Develop and meet scheduling commitments.
- Maintain a billable percentage of 20%.
People Leadership:
- Act as Compensation Planning Manager for EMEA Services.
- Oversee team goal setting, reviews, and performance management.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to team members.
EMEA Services Liaison:
- Lead EU liaison efforts.
- Manage MAI, Cloud, and CSO engagement.
- Handle annual budgeting.
Services Sales Support:
- Lead sales and PSO liaison efforts.
- Foster collaboration between Services and Sales teams.
- Support RFPs and project requirements.
- Lead Services involvement in sales engagements.
- Support sales initiatives and negotiations.
- Build and manage customer relationships.
Growth and Emerging Markets:
- Oversee UK Services team working on growth projects, resource planning, escalations, and sales support.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in software implementation, especially TMS and supply chain systems.
- Experience with Cloud/SaaS implementations.
- Proven sales-to-implementation track record.
- Resource management experience.
- Travel up to 75%.
- Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to up-sell and manage client relationships.
Language Skills:
- Ability to interpret complex documents and respond effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present persuasively to top management and groups.
Reasoning Ability:
- Logical and scientific thinking skills.
- Ability to handle complex variables and abstract concepts.
