Bachelor or Master Thesis: Embedded Linux for Data Center Power Supplies (m/f/d) Location: Soest

Your challenge

• Integrating and managing open-source software in Linux-based firmware development
• Developing a reactive web-interface for powershelf controllers and sensor monitoring
• Improving sensor reading times for Linux-based embedded systems (I2C/PMBus, RS485/Modbus, CAN-Bus)
• Capture and manage custom/customized open source licenses automatically from source code

Your profile

• Studies in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or similar
• Good knowledge in embedded Linux and build systems
• Knowledge in communication protocols (D-Bus, SMBus/PMbus, Modbus…) is a plus
• Knowledge in embedded C, C++ or Python
• Independent working style, commitment, creativity, flexibility and ability to work in a team
