Role Overview
As a New Business Sales Manager (m/w/d) in Financial Services & Insurance, you will be responsible for acquiring a designated customer base with complex product and communication requirements. Your main tasks include:
- Identifying market growth potentials and providing data-driven recommendations based on market trends and customer needs, especially in ICT, Digital Solutions, AI, and Cloud services.
- Building and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships with clients at various management levels.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive customer business plans focusing on new business opportunities that add value.
- Preparing proposals and negotiating contracts through to closure.
- Monitoring sales funnels and managing CRM data.
- Leading complex deal and proposal processes, coordinating internal and external partners throughout the sales cycle.
- Planning strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts.
- Participating in industry events and preparing reports, presentations, and decision documents in German and English.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have:
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, such as Account Manager or Key Account Manager, with proven success in client management and growth, preferably within finance and insurance sectors.
- Strategic skills in developing new and existing client segments and sales strategies.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in sales management tools, metrics, and a results-oriented working style.
- Flexibility, team spirit, and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
