It’s an exciting time to join us! The RWEST Data Platform Team is looking for an experienced technical lead to shape the future data needs of our organization.
Using the latest cloud technology, the Lead in Data (LiD) platform, used as the primary data analytics platform within the group, alongside MIX, has revolutionized searching, sharing, and onboarding of data within our organization. Market Data is a fundamental backbone to the company’s trading and analysis communities, as well as support functions, and is becoming a critical asset across the RWE group.
We are seeking a motivated tech enthusiast to join us as a Technical Product Owner, working closely with business stakeholders and internal squads to define our future platform direction.

Your Future Responsibilities
- Own the Lead in Data product vision and key objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Act as the interface between stakeholders, translating requirements into a technical backlog, design, and roadmap.
- Shape and influence the technical delivery backlog with innovations and enhancements.
- Architect strategic solutions to enhance our self-service platform.
- Work hands-on with data solutions for complex requirements.
- Engage with platform vendors (AWS, Dremio, Databricks, Tableau, Alation), prioritize fixes, and manage product roadmaps and usage.
- Collaborate with IT and business Product Owners in the Data space.
- Stay updated with new Data Analytics trends and solutions.
- Mentor the squad in knowledge, architecture, and solutions.
Your Powerful Skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and improve existing designs.
- Understanding of cloud architecture and production system principles.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Ecosystems (AWS preferred)
- Balance technical understanding with business acumen and user engagement.
- Collaborative mindset focused on delivering value.
- Understanding of operational aspects like high availability, scalability, monitoring, security, robustness.
- Experience with DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Conflict management skills and ability to inspire trust.
- Self-motivated, independent, reliable team player.
