Experience in operating CNC machines such as milling, turning, and grinding is required. Additionally, experience in machine setup and running production processes is essential.

High interest in learning new machines for optics production, such as Diamond Turning, Vacuum Coating, and dimensional Metrology, supporting new product development of precision optics.

Perform complex setups and operate machines with minimal supervision, guided by engineering or supervisors.

Ability to read technical drawings and basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Record inspection data, labor hours, and job information in manufacturing systems.

Maintain a clean, organized work environment, follow cleaning schedules, inventory control, and adapt to a high-paced, changing environment.

Experience with manual metrology and inspection equipment; training in state-of-the-art metrology equipment is desirable.

Shift work may be required.
