IT Team Lead - Infrastructure & Support | Berlin (Weißensee, 13088) | Onsite

We're looking for a hands-on IT Team Lead to support and guide a skilled team through a period of transformation and growth. This is not a top-down leadership role – it's about earning trust, bringing structure, and staying technically involved.

What You’ll Do

• Support and coordinate an 8-person IT admin team across infrastructure, Office 365, backups, and project work.
• Learn and document current systems and workflows to improve continuity and efficiency.
• Help balance operational firefighting with longer-term project goals (e.g., Windows 11 rollout, infrastructure upgrades).
• Manage shifting priorities, ensure effective time management, and bring calm to a fast-moving environment.
• Be present onsite to support, guide, and build team rapport – particularly during the first 6 months.

What You Bring

• Strong experience in IT infrastructure: networking, cloud, data centres, M365.
• Some team leadership or mentoring experience – formal or informal.
• High resilience, calm under pressure, and excellent time management.
• A collaborative, low-ego mindset with a willingness to listen, learn, and lead.
• Based in or willing to commute to Weißensee (13088 Berlin) — onsite presence expected 5 days/week initially.
