Responsibilities include as follows:

• Preparation of annual financial statements, audits, statutory filings and tax returns for German companies and other jurisdictions
• Translating financial documents from US GAAP to HGB
• Coordinating work with colleagues, stakeholders and service providers,
• Accounting and reporting on corporate income tax for corporate purposes
• Preparation of financial reports for the local board meetings

Required knowledge and experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in auditing or accounting (preferably from a German university)
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or auditing, including German
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
