YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, setup, installation, testing and maintenance of highly scalable data management systems
- Development and maintenance of ETL processes for integrating data from different sources
- Optimising the performance of data pipelines and data architecture
- Ensuring data availability and quality for analyses and reports
- Implementing data governance and security measures to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulations
- Continuously evaluating new data technologies and tools to improve data processing and storage capabilities
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed (Bachelor’s) degree in the field of (business) computer science, information technology, mathematics or a related field
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in the field of data technology or in the above-mentioned area of responsibility
- Proven experience in the technical management of project teams
- Good programming skills (Python) as well as knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of and experience with AWS services desirable
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g. S3, Redshift or similar) and data visualisation tools (Power BI)
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines an advantage
- Fluency in German and English is required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
