We are supporting a rapidly growing appliance spare-parts wholesaler who is the largest company of their kind in the space in their search for a talented and experienced WMS Implementation Lead .
This role falls within the wider company project to build a new distribution centre with high levels of automation and you will be an essential part of the project to enable the team to implement the new WMS system as well as helping to train other key users.
This is a very exciting time for the company as this new site will be built from the ground up to be the central hub for all European operations and eventual expansion internationally from Germany to support their other sites globally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end WMS implementation projects from planning through go-live and post-launch support.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Designing the WMS including all configuration & customisations required and integration flows.
- Act as the liaison between business users, software vendors, and third-party implementation partners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives post-implementation to optimise WMS functionality and warehouse performance.
- Training of key users within the warehouse team.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with multiple implementation projects.
- Experience implementing Logbase or WMS X (Inconsowms) is essential.
- Fluent German and English is required.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse workflows.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
