Further information is available at: www.siemens.at/mobility Currently we’re looking for a Software Testmanager (m/f/d) for our Passenger Coaches Department in Vienna or Graz for Siemens Mobility Austria GmbH. Become a part of our team in Vienna or Graz! You will be responsible for definition of the test strategy and the test of the control system software for Siemens Cab Cars itself. Our Passenger Coaches are manufactured in Vienna and other Siemens locations, and they transport people across Europe in day and night trains such as the Railjet for Austrian and Czech railway operators. Tasks * Lead and manage internal and external test engineers in the area of railway control software, develop test strategies with focus on efficient software verification and validation * Close collaboration with the software development engineers as well as with the software assessors * Ensure project plans and deliverables are accurate, complete, and achievable. Establish operational objectives and work plans, and delegate the assignments * Monitor and manage capacity, skills, experience and work to ensure timely delivery and continuously improve the test quality * Ensure test documentation and deliverables are reviewed and aligned with industry standards and regulations, while reflecting Siemens Mobility’s commitment to quality and safety * Together with the team plan and implement test automation, seek out and deploy new tools and automation opportunities, occasionally visit other Siemens locations (mainly in Germany and Czech Republic) Skills * Successfully completed a technical degree in computer science, electrical engineering, railway engineering or a related subject * Several years of experience with test management, knowledge in agile software development is a plus * Deep expertise in software testing, with a strong focus on automation, hands-on testing experience in a vehicle or under lab conditions * Extensive experience in writing and reviewing requirements as well as familiarity with requirement management tools * Knowledgeable in safety critical software development and testing would be beneficial * Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on building relationships, providing constructive feedback, and fostering collaboration * Fluent in English and on B2-level in German language What else should I know?
