Patent Attorney (Litigation)

We are working with a firm operating at the top of its game, housing some of the world's leading patent attorneys and lawyers. This firm is expanding and seeking an experienced patent attorney focusing on PADL (patent attorneys doing litigation) work. This would be high-tech focused. An interest in contentious work is sufficient if you haven't done it before though clearly any prior experience would be advantageous. 

This is an exciting opportunity as it would be the first patent attorney into the DUS office which is currently stocked with litigators only.

We are welcoming applications from German and European patent attorneys with experience of electronics, physics and/or engineering.

Candidates will have experience in national and European patent law including prosecution and opposition and opposition appeal proceedings at the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trade Mark Office as well as nullity proceedings at the German Federal Patent Court and the German Supreme Court. You will also advise on infringement proceedings before German patent infringement courts and provide support with patent infringement proceedings in other countries inside and outside Europe.

The main technical focus is on telecommunications and computer technology, including software, aviation engineering, power tool technology and medical engineering.
