HR AdministratorLocation: Essen, onsiteOverview of tasks:Handle the full spectrum of administrative and backend tasks associated with the human resources functionDeal with team member requests and queries both in person and through the company’s ticketing systemSupport compliance with German workplace regulations and labor lawsFacilitate and coordinate the Betriebliches Eingliederungsmanagement (BEM) process, supporting the reintegration of employees after long-term illness or absenceMaintain and update employee records and HR documentsMaintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel informationProcess HR paperwork and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulationsSupport the onboarding and offboarding processes for employeesPartner with cross-functional teams internally to coordinate administrative HR activitiesIdentify potential risks or issues with HR processes and proactively communicate with stakeholdersTranslate business requirements into HR administrative plansPresent reports on HR administrative tasks to stakeholders, highlighting any issues and solutionsImplement and manage changes in HR administrative processes to meet organizational needsParticipate in HR lead projects and initiatives as requiredWe are looking for:Professional work experience in the field of Human Resources is a plusKnowledge of German labor law (Arbeitsrecht) and of Betriebliches Eingliederungsmanagement (BEM) process administration is desirableFamiliarity with GDPR compliance requirementsHR Certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is advantageousAbility to function productively and proactively in a fast-moving environment is essentialAbility to deal effectively with ambiguity while ensuring challenging delivery timelines are metExcellent written and spoken German and English skills – C1 is neededExperience with HRIS systems is desirableProficiency with Google Workplace applicationsGoal-oriented, structured, and sustainable way of workingCareful listener with keen perception to detail is essentialWe will need these documents:Cover letter explaining your motivation and expectations for your new roleExtended Curriculum VitaeProof of C1 German / English Certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, SHL, Cambridge).
