At Agile Robots SE, we develop intelligent robotic systems and automation solutions. As systems grow in complexity, we require professional frameworks and tools for efficient robot programming.

We build software frameworks for orchestrating complex robotic systems, including tools for system configuration, skill programming, parameterization, and task execution. These solutions are sold internationally to enable control of robotic workcells, with smooth integration and scalable deployment as key goals.

We seek a candidate with a background in robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science to join our international, fast-moving team developing prototypes and products.

Your Responsibilities

• Setup and integration of complex robotic systems for mobile manipulation tasks.
• Design and implementation of customer-specific features using our workcell-automation framework, including computer vision algorithms in collaboration with AI engineers.
• Develop hardware drivers for new robots, actuators, sensors, and UI screens.
• Travel to international customers to understand, implement, and deploy software features.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master\’s degree or equivalent in robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields.
• At least four years of work experience.
• Intermediate programming skills in Python or C++.
• Experience in robotics (robots, AGVs, cameras, PCBs) and embedded platforms.
• Practical robot programming experience.
• Knowledge of system design and architecture software.
• Fluency in English.

Beneficial Skills

• Experience with computer vision libraries (OpenCV, TensorFlow, PCL).
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, RS-485, TCP/IP, EtherCAT, OPC-UA, Profibus, CAN).
• Experience in PLC programming and electrical circuits.
• Knowledge of functional safety norms.
• Practical experience with CAD software.
• Business fluency in Chinese.
