Role Overview

As the Head of Material Asset Management and Availability within Aircraft Component Services (ACS), you will be responsible for leading and developing your team, managing component supply chains, ensuring the availability of spare parts and assemblies, and optimizing processes and projects related to material availability and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop your team; coordinate personnel measures with HR; plan their training and development.
• Manage component logistics, ensuring reliable supply of spare parts and assemblies for internal and external customers; develop production and supply strategies with relevant departments.
• Ensure critical success factors such as budget, availability, and quality; implement measures and process improvements.
• Plan the development of material availability products, align with budget, and increase efficiency.
• Identify projects for capital optimization, leverage synergies, and coordinate implementation across departments.

Requirements

We look forward to getting to know you personally and therefore do not list soft skills explicitly. However, we expect the following qualifications:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, or Economics
• At least 5 years of experience in asset management, leading complex projects, and extensive experience in asset procurement, asset finance, process design, and stakeholder communication across hierarchies.
• First leadership experience
• Excellent knowledge of business fundamentals and material management processes
• Fluent English skills
• Proficient in MS Office and other relevant IT tools
• Willingness to travel frequently
