The EU AMXL 3PL Procurement Team is growing, and we are hiring a Procurement Specialist with a European-wide scope to join the team in Luxembourg.

Key job responsibilities

• Define and implement sourcing initiatives and contracts to meet business objectives and foster sustainable supplier relationships
• Manage existing contracts
• Lead savings projects and deliver value to the business
• Identify alternative suppliers and/or materials/processes
• Drive effective delivery of procurement metrics by leading/supporting projects, identifying root causes of issues, and implementing corrective actions
• Utilize multiple databases and systems to deliver accurate metrics, reporting, and analytics to measure team performance

A day in the life

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will support the EU AMXL 3PL Procurement and business teams through operational purchasing tasks and project assignments. You will engage in process improvements, sourcing projects, savings identification, project leadership/support, documentation, training, and problem-solving activities to optimize sourcing operations.

About the team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) handles heavy items like furniture and large appliances. Our team manages the entire process from supply chain fulfillment to delivery and returns, providing enhanced customer care through unpacking, assembly, installation, and old item removal. We focus on safety, productivity, and innovation, transforming how customers buy and receive large goods.

We plan to expand our specialized fulfillment, sorting, reverse logistics, and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. Most team members work during the day, with some night shifts in delivery operations. Our team includes professionals in operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and program management, all vital to our growth.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor\’s degree
• Fluency in English and at least one European language
• Proficiency in data analysis and management review preparation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in 3PL Operations or Procurement
• Contract management background
• Strategic procurement experience
• Experience in Heavy Bulky business
• Background in procurement initiatives to reduce costs and mitigate risks
• Experience in spend assessment, market analysis, and forecasting
