Location: Munich
Our client is seeking an experienced CFO to lead theor financial strategy. This role will oversee all financial operations, with a strong focus on IPO preparation, IFRS conversion, and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and expansion of the finance department, including organizational structuring and recruitment.
• Lead the transition to IFRS.
• Establish and maintain relationships with institutional investors, banks, and financial partners.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, R&D cost controlling, and monthly reporting processes.
• Ensure accurate execution of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Drive digitalisation and efficiency improvements in financial operations.
• Provide strategic and operational direction to accounting and FP&A teams.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, STEM, or a comparable quantitative field.
• 6-8+ years of experience in finance, strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a CFO/leadership role in high-growth companies.
• Strong expertise in financial management, reporting, and IFRS-based accounting.
• Experience in IPO preparation is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in German and English .
