THE DETAILS:

THE ROLE:

• Lead project management, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence for construction activities, including data center resilience initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring total project quality and driving troubleshooting efforts for equipment failures.
• Provide operational support, oversee efficient project turnovers, and lead internal and external teams.
• Travel to data center sites for engineering evaluations and strategic capacity management.
• Manage MEP design and engineering, ensuring compliance and integration with architectural elements.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors, oversee MEP installation, and negotiate contracts.
• Conduct site inspections, coordinate commissioning activities, and manage MEP documentation.
• Provide technical support to project teams and clients, staying updated on industry trends.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Experience managing data center projects, with 3+ years in Data Center Engineering or Operations and Construction Management.
• 7+years of experience in related fields. Strong verbal and written communication skills, vendor relationship management, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, self-start, and demonstrate quantitative analytical and problem-solving skills: excellent organizational skills and technical proficiency.
• Preferred qualifications include direct experience in Data Center Engineering Operations, a detail-oriented track record, and the ability to follow support procedures.
• College/Technical Degree or equivalent professional experience in Engineering or Technical Project Management is preferred.
