Metrology Technician for Optics Production

Join us as a Metrology Technician for Optics Production (m/f/x) and take part in advancing next-generation precision technology!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Qualify in-house produced optical components using interferometers, microscopes, and various metrology tools
• Program and perform dimensional measurements using coordinate measurement machines (CMM)
• Support the development of testing methodologies and equipment for serial production
• Assemble and align telescope optics using precision-manufactured in-house components
• Conduct validation testing on assembled telescope systems

What You Bring

• Vocational training in a technical discipline (e.g., optics, mechatronics, precision mechanics, or related fields)
• Hands-on experience with optical or mechanical precision component handling is a plus
• Familiarity with optical and dimensional metrology tools (e.g., interferometers, microscopes, wavefront sensors, CMMs) is advantageous
• Strong interest in optics and precision technologies
• A reliable, structured, and efficient working style
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexibility and readiness to work overtime on short notice, depending on business needs
