About The Role
The Desktop Technician will provide day-to-day local/remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot, and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software, and application issues in a ticketing system. The candidate will also facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage their supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT Support Center. The Desktop Support Engineer provides break-fix, fault diagnosis, and resolution.

We do not sponsor any visa or work permit. Therefore, candidates must have legal working permits themselves.
Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Be the IT Hero: Resolve hardware/software issues for Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
- Keep Things Moving: Manage IT setups for meeting rooms, printers, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and VIP users.
- Team Up: Work with global IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Hands-On Support: Reboot servers, run diagnostics, and assist with infrastructure projects.
- Prevent Fires: Proactively maintain systems to avoid downtime.

Requirements
Qualifications
- German citizens are preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT support.
- Well-mannered communication skills with a great attitude.
